Jacob Clark is an experienced software engineer currently leading a team at the BBC building a news service for children.

Passionate about software engineering, he specialises in leading and mentoring teams that craft high quality products driven by user needs through a variety of extreme programming and agile techniques. Jacob strongly believes in team autonomy, formed around agile principles such as incremental and continuous delivery, clean code, test driven development, simplicity and pragmatism.

Always interested in driving effective technology adoption in enterprise scale organisations, Jacob previously spearheaded early moves into cloud hosting in the public sector, and more recently into serverless environments at the BBC.
